Wolfwood Guest Ranch has 160 acres of wilderness and many activities are available for you to enjoy!

A small private lake with a sitting area and walking trail.

We have a canoe and 2 kayaks for use on our lake. For safety please use the life jackets that are provided.

Children’s playground equipment with 2 level playhouse, slides, and a swing set, this area is unsupervised and children must not be left unattended.

A fire pit by the creek with a sitting area is a great place for relaxing and  evening marshmallow toasting.

Take a walk around the lake or follow the trails past the meandering creek to the beaver dams and into the surrounding mountains.

Explore the day to day aspects of our small working farm as we feed and care for our animals. Our ducks and chickens are free to wander the property while the Alpacas and goats are out in their fields but very social during the morning feeding.

In case of gloomy weather, we have a covered seating area at reception with a gas firepit. BBQ and microwave.

Need a break from the outdoors? We have Starlink satellite basic wifi available at reception as well as some limited availability in the cabins.
A selection of board games & cards games are available at reception for you to take back to your cabin.

For your entertainment, your room has a TV & DVD player along with a selection of movies. Additional movies are available at reception.

Join us for a wild edibles nature walk or take one of our other wilderness / pioneer & homesteading classes available on site. Space is limited so advance reservations are recommended for most of our classes. But please ask if you are interested in anything specific as we may be able to accommodate your requests. Popular classes include Atlatl, spear or axe making, learn axe throwing, archery or even make your own survival bow. For a full list of classes please see our wilderness school page.

Wells Gray Park

Spend your time discovering beautiful Wells Gray Park with 39 named waterfalls including the famous and spectacular Helmcken Falls, 5 rivers and so many lakes! Enjoy the countless hiking trails and historical sites such as Ray Farm, mineral springs and the bee farm; see where the pioneers set up their homesteads. Hike the Trophy Mountains and see the meadows full of wild flowers. Take a horseback ride through the mountains and enjoy the view from the top. Clearwater Lake has many opportunities for canoeing and kayaking, fishing as well as swimming. Take in a round of Golf at the Wells Gray Golf Course. With so many options it can be difficult to choose your activities, please just ask and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have or assist with tour bookings.
